Best of the Rest Stars Basketball and Life Skills  Mission and Purpose

 

       Create champions one child and one student at a time. Develop student-athletes as positive role models. Offer opportunities for exposure and skill development for scholarships. Enhance individual and team  social development through interaction and sport manship like competition. Advocate and promote fair play, sportsmanship and the scholar-athlete ideal. Deter youths from socially and personally destructive behavior.

        Provide group and private basketball training on fundamentals, conditioning, speed agility and various  life skills topics  and issues. like health and nutrition to overcome obesity, speakers on topics about the importance of money management skills.  Develop leadership skills and help to improve and foster cultural differences and to increase racial harmony and world peace using sports competition as a median. Provide and educate teens on current health, wellness,diet and exercise information throughout the year along with community outreach at various high schools, middles schools and recreational facilities. This charitable organization serves the South Florida community which includes areas like Perrine, Richmond Heights, Redlands, Homestead, Coconut Grove and other areas. Children come from everywhere and from the low to moderate income to the middle income community.
